Water-based group transport is an excellent alternative to bus shuttles in delta metropolitan regions: cleaner, faster and with greater experiential value.
We envision a future in which cruise operators, DMCs, tour operators and event organisers by default choose transport by water when it makes sense.
Fewer buses in sensitive city centres, lower emissions and more calm along the quays. With modern, fast-sailing vessels (up to approx. 40 km/h where permitted) and a tightly organised operation, we turn group transport into an experience and planning into a certainty. Step by step, starting in the Rotterdam–Dordrecht–Kinderdijk region, we are building a robust network of water hubs for premium group transport.

RiverTender is powered by a highly experienced team with more than fifty years of combined experience in passenger transport by water.
We combine operations, planning and hospitality with clear procedures and concise briefings, ensuring boarding, departure and arrival are predictable and relaxed. Safety, service and guest experience are central, with attention to liveability and the environment.
We sail exclusively with experienced captains, officers and crew from the passenger shipping industry. They understand waterways, currents and the dynamics of cruise excursions, and work seamlessly with guides and planners. Combined with fast, modern ferries, this delivers exactly what professional clients require: safe and efficient sailing, professional quayside coordination and a premium travel experience that fits perfectly into a tightly timed programme.
